Biography
Mr. Daniel Baek has studied Mechanical Engineering at the RWTH (Rheinisch-Westfälische
Technische Hochschule) Aachen University in Germany majoring in Plastic Processing. In 2002,
Mr. Baek started as an application engineer and a project manager, followed by working as a
product manager in Germany for A. Schulman, a manufacturer of special plastic materials used
in the Automotive and the Electrical & Electronic (E&E) industries. From 2006 to 2012, Mr. Baek
served as the Vice President for A. Schulman in Asia Pacific, building a new business unit in Asia
for engineering plastics. From 2012 to 2019, Mr. Baek served as Vice President for A. Schulman
for Engineering Plastics in North and South America. Since 2019, he has been building a new
business unit in the United States for a German Foundation, The Fedderson Group, with plans to
build a new production site in Texas in 2026. The Fedderson Group includes an engineering
plastic manufacturing business for highly engineered plastics, mainly for the automotive industry.
